Although untrained, I have been taking 35mm pictures since about 1958.  I moved to Poughkeepsie, New York, nestled in the mid-Hudson Valley and Dutchess County 25 years ago and continue to be enchanted with its beauty every day.  In the Midwest they have forest preserves, but here they let the trees run wild.  Imagine.  Many of the pictures I found just by driving in the county and, seeing a road off to the left, taking it, hence the title "path less traveled" (or "pathless traveled" if you prefer, that works as well.)

l moved from digitalized 35mm film to all digital about 2 years ago when I noticed my friend outshooting me 20 to 1 at the New York Botanic Gardens Chrysanthemum show.  The quality of his work was as good or better than mine and I decided to make the leap.  My photographic arsenal includes film Cameras (all Nikon unless otherwise stated); back row from left; N90S, N60, D90, F6; front row from left; D300, Pentax 6x7, D2Xs, D100.  (D denotes digital, F & N denote film, and the Pentax is a medium format film camera).

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why photoimagery instead of photography?

A: I'm not a photographer in that I try to take pictures of interesting things, not necessarily good pictures.  I also enjoy adding effects in Photoshop with the NIK software sweet, and with PostworkShop pro.

Q: How can I get copies of the pictures?

A: At the bottom of each page is a link to Shutterfly where enlargements and photo gifts are available.

Q: How often do you update your pictures?

A: I try to present a different subject every month.
