Although untrained, I have been taking 35mm pictures since about 1958.  I moved to Poughkeepsie, New York, nestled in the mid-Hudson Valley and Dutchess County 25 years ago and continue to be enchanted with its beauty every day.  In the Midwest they have forest preserves, but here they let the trees run wild.  Imagine.  Many of the pictures I found just by driving in the county and, seeing a road off to the left, taking it, hence the title "path less traveled" (or "pathless traveled" if you prefer, that works as well.)

About half of the pictures on this site are digital, the rest are digitalized from standard negatives, which allows me to offer very high quality pictures up to 20" x 24" and 20" x 30".  For the pictures I use three Nikon film cameras and Nikon D2Xs and D300 digital cameras.  Within the past year I have been shooting with a Pentax 6x7 which allows us to offer even higher quality prints to you.
